Abstract
The main objectives of this evaluation are: (i) to provide an overall independent and accountable assessment of the European Commission’s cooperation relations with Malaysia during the 1997-2007 period, (ii) to identify lessons learnt from past cooperation in order to enhance the implementation of the current strategy and the preparation of future strategies. During the period 1997-2007, EC commitments in terms of bilateral co-operation amounted to approximately € 6.7 million, and disbursements totalled to € 6.05 million. An amount of € 3.5 million was decommitted in 2004.[Author vide copyright]
